Abstract

A sealant for forming a seal between at least two solid oxide fuel cell components wherein the sealant comprises a glass material comprising B ₂ O ₃ as a principal glass former, BaO, and other components and wherein the glass material is substantially alkali-free and contains less than 30% crystalline material.
