Abstract
An experimental study of the effect of radial cuts on noise from idling circular saw blades was conducted, and a modal analysis experiment on a blade without any slots and a blade with laser cut slots was undertaken to examine the problem from a structural point of view. The results were presented and discussed. (P.T.)
