Dr. Yu-Hsien Chiu is a Teaching Professor in the department of Business and Information Technology at Missouri University of Science and Technology. She received an M.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She joined Missouri S&T in 2007.

Prior to her academic career, Dr. Chiu spent 14 years in professional service industry in various positions as an auditor, consultant, domain expert, project manager in Arthur Andersen, Andersen Consulting, and Accenture. Her specialties include ERP System Design and Implementation, Information Technology Planning, Shared Service Process/Organization Design and Implementation, and Business Performance Management Solution Implementation.

Dr. Chiu has led several large-scale project teams to successfully deliver IT solution for global leading enterprises, such as Siemens, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co, Johnson & Johnson, Johnson Controls, Philips Morris, etc. Together with colleagues from all over the world, she has delivered projects in various countries, including Germany, United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, Malaysia and China.
