About

Dr. Risheng Wang received her Ph.D. in Chemistry under the supervision of Professor Nadrian C. Seeman from New York University. She then joined the Department of Chemistry and Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics (APAM) at Columbia University as a postdoctoral research associate, after which she became associate research scientist at Columbia. She became an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2014 and Associate Professor in 2020.

Her research focuses on the development of novel techniques for organizing functional nanomaterials and fabricating integrated molecular-scale devices using DNA-based assembly to explore their optoelectronic and biotechnology applications.
