Dr. Bih-Ru Lea is a Professor in the Jaggi School of Business at Missouri S&T. She received a Ph.D. in Industrial Management and a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc) from Clemson University.
 
Dr. Lea conducts interdisciplinary research projects in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), supply chain management (SCM), accounting information systems, manufacturing information systems, information technology, and business strategy. Dr. Lea performed funded research for the National Science Foundation, British Telecom, Monsanto Company, Peabody, and the University of Missouri System Research Board. Dr. Lea collaborated with and supervised student projects for companies such as Peabody, Union Pacific, UPS, GE, Humana, Metro United Way, and Jefferson County Public Schools. Dr. Lea served as an Assistant Research Director at the UPS Center for Worldwide Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Distribution Institute at the University of Louisville.
 
Dr. Lea has served as the SAP Campus Coordinator, is the Director of the ERP Center, and is on the editorial board of Production and Operations Management Journal, Journal of International Technology and Information Management, International Journal of Electronic Finance, and International Journal of Business and Systems Research. Dr. Lea is a regular reviewer for prestigious academic journals and conferences, including the International Journal of Production Economics, the International Journal of Production Research, the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) conference, the Conference of the Association of Information Systems (AIS), and the Conference of the International Association of Information Systems (IACIS).
