Dr. Bih-Ru Lea is an Associate Professor in the Business and Information Technology department at Missouri S&T. She received a Ph.D. in Industrial Management and a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc) from Clemson University.
Dr. Lea conducts interdisciplinary research projects in the areas of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), supply chain management (SCM), accounting information systems, manufacturing information systems, information technology, and business strategy. Dr. Lea performed funded researches for the National Science Foundation, British Telecom, Monsanto Company, Peabody, Monsanto, and University of Missouri System Research Board. Dr. Lea collaborated and supervised student projects with companies such as Peabody, Union Pacific, UPS, GE, Humana, Metro United Way, and the Jefferson County Public Schools. Dr. Lea severed as an Assistant Research Director of UPS Center for Worldwide Supply Chain Management for Logistics and Distribution Institute at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Lea has served as the SAP Campus Coordinator, is the Director of the ERP Center, and is on the editorial board of Production and Operations Management Journal, Journal of International Technology and Information Management, International Journal of Electronic Finance, and International Journal of Business and Systems Research. Dr. Lea is a regular reviewer for prestigious academic journals and conferences including International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) conference, Conference of Association of Information Systems (AIS), and Conference of International Association of Information Systems (IACIS).
