Personal profile

Research interests

My research focuses on developing sustainable and economically viable processes to extract, separate, purify, and recover critical materials from low-grade ores, industrial residues, electronic waste, and other secondary resources.

Key areas include extractive metallurgy, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, vacuum and pyrolysis processes, solvent extraction, selective precipitation, metallurgical waste valorization, and the production of battery-grade and high-purity materials. I am also interested in applying thermodynamic modeling, process simulation, artificial intelligence, and digital-twin approaches to improve metallurgical process development, optimization, scale-up, and resource efficiency.
